Posted by MBiolo Thursday, 2007-June-14 21:03 Okay, I',m a little late posting . . . I was dreaming . . .
And I too wonder if anyone dreams anymore, at least in broadcasting. When I was a young lad guys would look at the moon and dream of going there some day. Me, I listened to WLS and WCFL and dreamed going there some day. These days radio is little more than a juke box. What little personality there is seems to only exist in the morning daypart. And there ain't much even there. (If I hear one more guy/gal combo trying to make funny with the news or chatting endlessly about the Humane Society dog of the day I'm gonna stick my finger down my throat.) At least I can stream KFOG. Looking forward to more of "My Story" and hope to read a bit more about the city of your epiphany and my home town. Ahh, remember open window over Adams Street, the big ol' Gates board, the Blackstone, Chili John's, and, of course, the groupies. Marco Post reply
